This week's inspiration comes from the fabulous Marilyn Monroe. I'm preparing a booth at the Galveston Beach Revue on May 14th and 15th. I'll be shooting all the Beach Babes (vintage and modern) and debuting the Rouge Beach Babe Collection. If you'd like to do a Beach Babe shoot this summer, shoot me an email. today i'm starting a new thing. each week i'll throw in a post letting you know what's inspiring me right this second and how we can make that inspire you when it comes to planning your shoot.

so let's start off with what's inspiring me today.... obviously, it's cupcakes, but let me explain the vision and what's behind it. i'm dreaming of pastels, florals, vintage, feminine... i love these dresses from modcloth, a new online fave of mine. this shot of the cupcake is from Crave, also new to me (and i have no idea why????). if i were to interpret this into a photoshoot i think i'd style a really feminine and whimsical tea party or picnic. i might even shoot at Crave. cupcakes would definitely be involved.

I went shopping today! I hit Charming Charlie's, which i had never been to before. Why? I have no idea. I was like a kid in a candy store and I didn't even scratch the surface. I got a cute little blue scarf, turquoise bangles, and my favorite, this green and cream lovely cuff. I got a bunch of other goodies, too. And you guys don't mind if I borrow some of the community jewels, do you? It's a perk of the job. :)

It's about that time! Time to get those announcements out. It's not too late to get your portraits done, 2010 gals. But you do need to have it scheduled in March to get those announcements out in April. I've got a bunch of really cool designs to make your shoot stand out.
